I am a white, genderqueer [they/them], queer, former soviet union russian jewish immigrant (came to the unceded Lenape land when I was 6), former new yorker. I existed within internalized monogamous heteronormativity, white supremacy, patriarchy, colonialism for most of my life. The last 6 years have been and continue to be a shedding and new weaving- full of processing unfelt hurt, pain, grief, joy and desire. More and more I inner-stand that my experiences, perspectives, understandings are mine. Being uniquely me allows me to see, witness, recieve and accept others not as reflections of myself but as their own unique, individualized blast of creation, wisdom, light and darkness.
Queerness is one of the greatest gifts. Love is the greatest medicine. Relationship is the greatest mirror.
My way of living and learning is not through content gathering. My way is through relating with. The experience and the process. I can understand the pieces to the puzzle But only in relationship can I choose to play a different game. What drives me is a new way. A new way of love I haven’t known
